During Reception’s Mothering Sunday Assembly, the children shared why their mums’ were so special to them and afterwards they were all given a daffodil, a Mother’s Day card and a portrait of themselves. I am sure they will be displayed in family homes for years to come. This was followed by tea, ‘school’ baked heart biscuits and strawberries donated by Marks and Spencers.
