On Wednesday, some of our class went to a ball skills festival at top school which was run by the year 11 sports leaders. We were split into different teams named after countries, our teams were Holland and Spain. We started the event by playing warm up games like stuck in the mud and duck, duck, goose which were really fun! We all made up different chants to cheer on our teams too like “Holland! Holland! Holland!” and “2, 4, 6, 8, who do we appreciate? Spain!”. After we had warmed up, we took part in a bench ball tournament. Spain came first and Holland came fourth. The winning team’s players got medals and certificates. Some other children were awarded certificates for good sportsmanship as well.
