Year 2s set out on a rainy Thursday morning, to walk to the Fire Station in Chipping Norton. They were met by Melanie and Sam, who showed them how to get dressed quickly as a fireman with all their heavy, important equipment. They then had a tour of the offices, police station and the drying room. Year 2 then rescued some practice dummies, went in the fire engine and put out a 'fire' by throwing wet sponges. They had such an exciting and interesting time. They all now want to be firefighters!
