Year 5 visited the Houses of Parliament. This was an exciting opportunity to see inside The House of Commons and The House of Lords and gain a deeper understanding of the workings of the UK Parliament. They had a guided tour and also took part in a workshop on Laws and Debating. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to practise their debating skills as well as using the knowledge they had learnt in their topic work.
