World Book Day

World Book Day (Thursday 5th March) is approaching, and we are again inviting children to dress up and come to school in either pyjamas or a costume.
To help make this day more affordable and sustainable for everyone, we shall be organising a World Book Day Costume Recycling Event at school. This event will give children/families the opportunity to donate, swap, or pick up pre-loved World Book Day costumes.
How it will work:
Families are invited to donate any clean, good-quality World Book Day costumes, items, props that are no longer needed/or fit and leave them in the library.
At a later date (tbc). Donated costumes will be made available for other children/families to choose from.
Please don’t feel any pressure to buy or have a ‘bought’ costume – we would welcome creative, home-made and simple costumes or pyjamas.
Thank you for supporting this initiative and helping us make World Book Day enjoyable, inclusive and environmentally friendly for all our pupils.
