Community Gardening

Our amazing JLT and Chaplaincy teams had the opportunity to visit Chipping Norton Hospital, where they truly made a difference to the outdoor space! Armed with secateurs, loppers, shovels, garden forks, and trowels, our enthusiastic children rolled up their sleeves to weed, dig, and prune the garden space.
Despite the rain, their spirits remained high, and not a single complaint was heard. The children’s hard work did not go unnoticed; they were treated to refreshing squash and delicious biscuits by the hospital staff and volunteers.
A huge well done to everyone involved for working so diligently and making such a difference in our community. Your efforts not only beautified the hospital grounds but also brightened the day for many. We are incredibly proud of our pupils and their commitment to service. Keep up the fantastic work!
In conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Week, this served as a perfect example of how community service can enhance well-being and foster a sense of belonging among our pupils. Engaging in such activities not only supports those in need but also promotes mental health by encouraging teamwork, resilience, and a connection to the community.
