Year 2 welcomed Charlotte from Cotswold Arts Through Schools (CATS), who shared the story of The Willow Pattern Plate. The children explored the beauty of traditional blue‑and‑white Chinese pottery and then had the opportunity to design and decorate their very own plates inspired by the artwork. It was a wonderful week of storytelling, creativity, and cultural celebration—all while deepening the children’s understanding of Chinese traditions and art.
