Our Year 3 and Year 4 enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Hill End, where they took part in a fascinating Stone Age Day. During the visit, the children stepped back in time and experienced what life might have been like thousands of years ago. They took part in a variety of hands-on activities, including learning how early humans hunted, created tools, and built shelters. The pupils were particularly engaged as they explored ancient survival skills and discovered how people lived without modern conveniences. Throughout the day, the children showed great enthusiasm, curiosity, and excellent behaviour, making the most of every opportunity to learn. The experience brought their classroom studies to life and deepened their understanding of the Stone Age in a fun and memorable way.
