Brave, Kind, Mind
Children in Year 5 and Year 6 have begun their Brave, Kind, Mind sessions this term. During the first session, pupils were introduced to activities designed to help them look after both their minds and bodies. They explored simple body movements and deep‑breathing techniques, learning how these can positively influence their mental wellbeing. In the weeks ahead, the children will continue developing their self-awareness by noticing their feelings, practising mindful movement and breathing, and sharing their thoughts with one another. They will also take part in activities that promote kind listening and finding calm within their bodies and minds. These sessions aim to give pupils practical tools they can use to manage emotions and support their overall wellbeing.
