EYFS Trip to Cogges Manor Farm

Reception’s trip to Cogges Manor Farm on Thursday, was a fantastic experience, even with the rainy weather! Despite it, they remained cheerful and enthusiastic throughout the day, making the most of every opportunity. Wrapped up in coats and wellies, the children explored the farm, met a range of animals, and learned about traditional farming life. The rain certainly didn’t dampen spirits! They particularly enjoyed seeing how a working farm operates in all weather conditions, giving them a more realistic understanding of farm life. The hands-on activities were a highlight, from feeding animals to exploring the historic buildings. The children showed great resilience and positivity, embracing the outdoors and demonstrating excellent behaviour throughout. We are incredibly proud of how well everyone adapted to the conditions, and it was lovely to see so many smiles despite the rain.
