Our KS2 pupils were also treated to a wonderful new experience when Charlbury Bowls Club visited the school to introduce them to the sport of bowls. The children took part in engaging, hands‑on activities that helped them learn key skills and basic rules in a friendly and supportive setting. The club members were brilliant at encouraging participation and teamwork, ensuring every child felt included and confident. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and many pupils left eager to develop their interest in bowls further.
